On 02/06/2014, Officers Responded to Three Mile Road for the report of a theft of birds.    

 

Officers have responded to this residence several times since December for birds taken including numerous pigeons, and chickens. 

 

The estimated value of these birds are in excess of $9,000.

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a shooting investigation that occurred in the City of Racine.

On Tuesday February 4, 2014, at 6:41 a.m. Racine police responded to a call of an assault in the 1000blk of Douglas Ave. Upon arrival and further investigation it was determined that the 55 year old female victim had been shot. She was conscious and alert. The victim was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital and later transferred to Froedtert Hospital for further treatment.

No suspects are in custody at this time. This is an active investigation.

The victim, TEILMA MARQUEZ suffered multiple gunshot wounds while sitting in her vehicle. MARQUEZ was treated and released from the hospital.

Community State Bank- Robbery

January 27, 2014   

 

The Mount Pleasant Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Bank Robbery that occurred in the Village of Mount Pleasant. 

 

On 01/17/2014 at 1:03 pm Mt. Pleasant Police Officers responded to a hold up alarm at the Community State Bank located at 8930 Washington Ave. This is near the intersection of STH 20 and 90th St.

 

The Bank Robbery suspect can be described as:

 

·         Black male

·         600 to 601 feet tall

·         Brown Carhartt jacket with hood

·         Pilot type sunglasses

·         Blue jeans

·         White Nike hi-tops

 

Investigators learned that the suspect approached the bank after he had been walking Southbound on 90th St where he was coming from the area of the Frontage Rd. He may have been dropped off in that area.

 

The suspect presented a note to a bank teller where he demanded money. No gun was displayed. After the teller provided an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, he exited the bank and headed east towards Fountain Hills Dr.

 

Mt. Pleasant K-9 (Bones) was on the scene shortly after the robbery. He was able to track a scent of the suspect East of the bank through the parking lot of an adjacent business. The scent ended at Fountain Hills Dr. It is believed that the suspect entered a vehicle at that location and left the area.

 

If anyone was in the area of 90th St. and the Frontage Rd. shortly before 1:00 pm on 01/17/2014 and remembers seeing a person matching the above description who was either walking or remembers this person getting out of a vehicle, please contact Crime Stoppers.

Armed Robbery- Mead St

January 20, 2014   

 

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Armed Robbery that occurred in the city of Racine. 

 

On January 15, 2014 Officers responded to 1951 Mead Street, for the report of an Armed Robbery. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned two black males approached two victims attempting to get into their car.  Both suspects were armed with handguns and pointed them at the victims, yelling for the victims to give them their purses.  Both of the victims were cooperative and after the suspects took the purses, they fled northbound through the alley of the 1900 Block of Mead St. 

 

The first suspect is described as a black male approximately 17-20 years old, 5’8-5’10 tall, described as being “skinny.” Additionally, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black winter stocking hat.  This suspect had a black and silver handgun.

 

The second suspect is described as a black male, 17-20 years old, 5’8-5’10 tall with a medium build.  The second suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up over his head, and a black face mask.  The second suspect had a silver handgun.

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Robbery that occurred in the city of Racine. 

 

On December 4, 2013 Officers responded to 600 High St, The Rock Inn, Parking lot, for the report of a Robbery. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned a black male suspect approached a female victim sitting in her car in the parking lot.  The male broke her driver side window, pushed the female back into her seat and stole her purse that was on the passenger seat.  The male then fled the scene east bound on foot. 

 

The suspect is described as a black male in his 18-22 years old, with brown eyes and a dark complexion.  Additionally, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black stocking hat.  The suspect may have fled to a waiting grey or silver car.

Northshore Bank Robbery

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Bank Robbery that occurred in the city of Racine. 

 

On December 26, 2013 Officers responded to 3911 N. Main St, Northshore Bank, for the report of a Robbery. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned a black male suspect entered the establishment, presented the teller with a note and a green grocery bag demanding money.  After the suspect was given the money, he fled on foot, southbound, down Main Street.   

 

The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties with a medium complexion, approximately 6’02 and was thin to average build.  He is described as having a scruffy goatee and possible freckles on his cheeks.  He was described as wearing a black hooded zip up, a knit cap, black running type pants with a white stripe down the side of each leg.  He also was wearing black gloves with grey accents between the fingers and Oakley type sunglasses with blue reflective lenses.

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Armed Robbery that occurred in the city of Racine. 

 

On December 29, 2013 Officers responded to 522 16th St, Belle City Food Mart, for the report of an Armed Robbery. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned that two black male suspects entered the establishment, one armed with a handgun, demanding money.  The suspects immediately ordered the customers to the ground, and forced one of the employees to open the register. 

 

The first suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 30’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a black ski mask, no gloves, and pointed a black handgun at 4 witnesses.  

 

The second suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 30’s, wearing a black baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a black ski mask, wearing white gloves.  This suspect also was wearing a gold watch.

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Armed Robbery that occurred in the city of Racine. 

 

On December 8, 2013 Officers responded to 2300 Rapids Drive, the Family Dollar, for the report of an Armed Robbery. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned that two male Hispanic suspects entered the establishment, both armed with handguns, demanding money.  The suspects immediately confronted the store employees and forced them to open the cash register. 

 

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male approximately 30-40 years old weighing between 180-200 lbs, approximately 5’8- 5’10 tall.  The suspect was wearing black Yankees baseball hat, a red coat, and a black mask. 

 

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male 18-25 years old, weighing approximately 160-180 lbs, approximately 5’6- 5’8 tall.  He is described as wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored jeans.

Armed Robbery- Sweet Spot

December 16, 2013

 

 

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Armed Robbery that occurred in the city of Racine. 

 

On December 3, 2013 Officers responded to 1900 Mead St, The Sweet Spot, for the report of an Armed Robbery. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned all three suspects entered the establishment, brandished weapons, and demanded money from both the workers and the register.  Additionally, one of the suspects put their gun to the head of an employee.  The employee attempted to “swat” the gun away, in doing so, the suspect discharged their firearm inside the store.  No one was injured.

 

The first suspect is described as a Black male, approx 6’2-6’3 weighing approximately 190-200 lbs.  The suspect is described as wearing a black hooded jacket, with blue jeans, white shoes with black trim, and a grey mask covering his face. 

 

The second suspect is described as a Black male, approx 5’7-5’10 weighing approx 160-180 lbs.  The suspect is described as wearing a black jacket with some kind of symbol on the left chest.  Additionally this suspect was wearing an orange hooded jacket under the jacket.  He had on black jeans and black shoes and was wearing a black mask covering his face. 

 

The third suspect is described as a Black male, approx 5’7-5’10 tall weighing approximately 160-180 lbs.  This suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with black jeans and a tan mask covering his face.

The Caledonia Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Theft that occurred in the Village of Caledonia. 

 

On November 15, 2013 Officers responded to 5111 Douglas Ave, Pick N Save, for the report of a Theft. 

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned a white female had gone through the self checkout lane.  She scanned and bagged several items and left the store without paying.    

 

The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 25-35 years old, weighing between 125-155 lbs.  She is further described as having blond or strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. 

 

The suspect was wearing a red Wisconsin Badgers sweatshirt along with black sweat pants at the time of the theft.  Please see attached photographs.

Home Invasion/ Robbery

The Village of Sturtevant Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Home Invastion/Robbery that occurred in the Village of Sturtevant.

 

On Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at approximately 10:34 PM, the Sturtevant Police Department responded to a residence in the 2900 block of 94th Street in regards to a home invasion/ robbery.

 

 During the incident, the suspects forced the victim to drive to an ATM to withdraw Money. 

 

Suspects were described as three Hispanic or African American males wearing dark clothing with a black bandanna partially covering their faces.  They were further described as being short in stature, five feet tall or less, and having medium builds.  All parties were wearing hooded sweatshirts. 

 

The investigation is ongoing.  Please see attached photographs.

The Racine Police Department in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Arson that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On November 5, Racine Police Officers along with the Racine Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Delamere Ave reference a residential fire.

 

This fire is considered suspicious in nature and intentionally set.  Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers.
